Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
The short version: Create and share memes for fun, but keep it legal and respectful. Don't use MemesVibe to infringe rights, harass or harm others, spread illegal content, or attack the Service. This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses MemesVibe (the "Service"), including creating image or video memes, uploading media, using templates, and interacting with our tools. It works alongside our Community Guidelines, which describe the standards for the content itself.
2. Prohibited Content
Do not create, upload, or share content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report such content to the appropriate authorities;
- Is sexually explicit, or intended to be pornographic;
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or incites violence against any person or group;
- Promotes hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation;
- Infringes intellectual property or violates the privacy or publicity rights of others;
- Is defamatory, deceptive, or designed to mislead (including scams, phishing, or impersonation);
- Depicts graphic violence or is gratuitously shocking without clear commentary or artistic value; or
- Contains malware, or links intended to harm devices or networks.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Do not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures;
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or extract data without our prior written permission;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, rate limiting, or anti-abuse features (such as our anti-bot checks);
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except to the extent permitted by law; or
- Use the Service to send spam or to collect others' information unlawfully.
4. Your Responsibility for Rights and Permissions
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or create, and for how you use the results. Availability of a template on the Service does not mean any particular use is authorized. See Section 5 of our Terms and our DMCA / Copyright Policy.
5. Reporting Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, please tell us. For copyright, use our DMCA / Copyright Policy. For privacy or personal-image concerns, use our Request Image Removal page. For anything else, use our contact form.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy, and we may report unlawful activity to authorities. We aim to act proportionately, but we prioritize user safety and legal compliance.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do.
